Presentation
My name is Luisa Mannu and I am a Therapist, Life Coach and cognitive-behavioural approach “Counsellor”. I receive in Brussels, near the European institutions, and I practise in French, English and Italian.
I support children, teenage girls and adults with issues related to all kinds of changes and difficult transitions in their personal, relational and professional life.
Having been trained in different approaches, I offer personalised therapy that meets your needs and attitudes and that helps you get through a difficult period.
After losing my husband at the age of 32, I went through a long and very intense grieving process. The immense sorrow that accompanied me throughout this journey turned out to be a truly enriching inner experience, which awakened in me a strong passion for helping people through emotional difficulties and for sharing the inner richness that inhabits me.
A research scientist by training, I am certified as a:
- Cognitive-behavioural coach by the “Centre for Coaching”, Middlesex University, London;
- Grief Recovery Method Specialist by the “Grief Recovery Institute®”, US;
- Creative Grief Support Counsellor by the “Creative Grief Support Studio”, US.
As a specialist in therapeutic support for change, transitions and trauma linked to loss, the help I offer does not necessarily involve going back to your distant past.
This is a completely new approach in our European countries, but it is widely known in the United States, Canada and all English-speaking countries.
My support focuses mainly on the emotional states, the suffering and the feelings you are experiencing right now.
I will support you in discovering your deepest inner resources and the resilience so often hidden by pain. Your current despair will gradually be transformed and you will relearn how to live in full wholeness.
Thanks to my training and qualifications, having walked the same path, I offer you personalized support, since I know that every pain is unique and every person deserves unique, tailor-made support.
As a cognitive-behavioral “life coach,” I help you understand your emotional reactions, discover what lies behind certain behaviors, and help you cope with a period of crisis. I guide you to achieve your goals and/or help you make important decisions in your life.
I support anyone who is suffering for different reasons:

• a life transition;
• difficulties related to romantic relationships;
