Presentation
With long experience in a hospital setting in a unit welcoming children with psycho‑social distress, I realized that my background as a specialized educator required additional training courses.Coach Verviers
I therefore completed several training programs such as Neuro‑Linguistic Programming and Ericksonian hypnosis, family systems therapy and transactional analysis.
My approach is part of solution‑focused brief therapies above all else, with the aim of enabling the person to regain fulfillment quickly.
I work on personal issues such as weight loss, quitting smoking and related matters, grief, phobias, etc., family-related issues such as educational concerns, attention difficulties at school, study methods and family organization, relationship issues as a couple such as couples therapy, conflict management, unspoken tensions and questions about the future of the relationship, and work-related issues such as exhaustion, burn-out and career change.
A coach for more than 20 years, I enjoy using my experience to help each person move towards personal and relationship fulfillment.
“I believe in human beings and in their ability to question themselves!”
The role of a therapist is to help the person develop successful behaviors by learning to mobilize their resources and use their senses. They also help them understand their motivations, set goals accordingly, and offer the tools needed to achieve them.
They must demonstrate open-mindedness, intellectual curiosity, kindness, and patience. Thanks to their listening skills and sense of observation, they are able to analyze other people’s behaviors. They are an observer with strong analytical and synthesis skills.
