Presentation
In March 2012, I obtained my Diploma as a Couples and Family Counsellor from the Higher Education Centre for Continuing Promotion and Training in Walloon Brabant (CPFB) in Louvain-la-Neuve. This training enabled me to develop person-centred listening based on Carl Rogers’ approach. I also enriched my practice with a range of skills designed to offer listening and support to couples, families, and individuals who come for counselling on their own.
In a confidential and caring setting, I offer to accompany you and support you towards the well-being and autonomy that you have chosen. I welcome you with respect for differences, where each person can express their view of the problem and their emotional experience.
Today, it is with my life experience, my professional training, my interpersonal skills and my know-how that I welcome you to consultation.
Taking the time to pause in order to be heard, to question yourself, cry, make mistakes, laugh, understand yourself, doubt, feel, recognize yourself… This is the therapeutic approach I offer you in individual, couples, and family sessions.
I look forward to meeting you!
Katty Lahaut.
