Presentation
My name is Alexander Nicholls; I am a psychotherapist (psychoanalytic orientation), hypnotherapist and sexologist.
As a Doctor in Social Sciences (UCL), I am particularly interested in the sociology of the family and sexuality, as well as intercultural issues.
Passionate about human beings in all their dimensions, I completed in parallel a six-year training in psychoanalysis and psychosomatics (CBF), in clinical sexology and in psycho-sexology applied to couples (FPSA).
Committed to offering tools with targeted effectiveness, I trained in clinical hypnosis. I obtained my diploma as a hypnotherapist from the National Guild of Hypnotists after advanced training recognized by the WHO. I also had the opportunity to take part in a Re-associative Trauma Psychotherapy workshop with an Ericksonian orientation.
Whatever the reason for the consultation (distress, overwhelming emotions, relationship difficulties, sexual disorder, burnout, addiction, phobia...), my approach is integrative and attentive to each person's individuality.
According to your needs and requests, I offer:
- therapy focused on hypnosis and/or a cognitive-behavioural approach for targeted results;
- therapy focused on talking and exploring your personal history, dreams, and associations of ideas, in order to bring to light the unconscious mechanisms underlying your current difficulties.
I offer individual consultations.
Consultations are also available in English.
