Presentation
Clinical psychologist trained in brief systemic therapy, I offer consultations for adults, children, adolescents, families, and couples who need support and guidance at key stages of their lives.
With a caring presence and empathic listening, I support people using the brief systemic therapy approach. This model is rooted in the here and now and focuses on the problem that is the source of suffering. I seek to understand how the person experiences the situation that causes them to suffer and how to move towards feeling better. I strive to grasp each situation by taking into account the relational context, emotions, thoughts, beliefs, and worldviews that shape their experience.
The in-depth exploration of the issue helps to highlight new strategies for bringing about positive change. The practical tools and concrete tasks addressed during the support process aim to broaden perceptions, identify the attempted solutions already implemented by the patient, and explore new paths leading to greater serenity and balance. Between sessions, through targeted actions, my patients rediscover their ability to be the primary architects of their own change.
The reasons for seeking consultation are multiple and varied: anxiety, phobias, parenting, learning difficulties, emotion regulation, depression, relationship issues, self-esteem, separations, breakups, end of life, bereavement, various traumas, illness, harassment and many other challenges, such as professional difficulties, burnout and professional or family exhaustion… I invite you to meet with me so we can talk together about the hardships you are going through.
Holder of a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from the Université Libre de Bruxelles, I continued my training with an additional Master’s in Social and Developmental Psychology at the University of Cambridge in England, so I can support you in both French and English. My training in brief systemic therapy was carried out at the Gregory Bateson Institute in Liège and at Virages in Louvain-La-Neuve.
Affiliated with the Commission of Psychologists, I am recognized as a clinical psychologist. Partial reimbursement of sessions is possible through certain health insurance funds.
