Presentation

For as long as I can remember, I’ve felt drawn to others. Listening, helping and understanding each person’s story has always been part of who I am. So it was only natural for me to turn to studies in psychology. I wanted to follow a university curriculum to acquire a solid theoretical foundation.
I continued research on decision-making processes as a neuropsychologist at the Institute of Neuroscience. Through my training, I eventually specialized in clinical sexology at the Université Libre de Bruxelles, which has always appealed to me for its free-examination approach that encourages reflection and freedom of judgment. It is this open-mindedness that has always guided my path!
In therapy, my humanistic approach focuses on the uniqueness of each person—their history, emotions, values, and choices. I rely on authenticity, empathy, and caring support to create a strong bond of trust. I also regularly integrate cognitive-behavioral tools (Young’s schema therapy, ACT therapy) in order to adapt to the specific needs of each person.
I currently work in several healthcare facilities. The question of well-being as well as sexual and/or emotional health is at the heart of my practice. I support both individuals in one-on-one sessions (topics related to loss of meaning, difficulties linked to their sexuality, identity, or relationship to intimacy) and couples (facing a time of crisis or relational difficulties following a difficult event).
Since 2022, I have also been putting my skills to work for higher education students and offer specialized support regarding difficulties encountered in their sexual, emotional, and relational histories (sexist/sexual violence, discrimination, harassment) and self-confidence in artistic practice.
Listening to each story in its uniqueness, I welcome people from diverse social and cultural backgrounds. I am fortunate to be able to constantly enrich myself, question myself, and learn. My varied work experiences have enabled me to develop more specialized expertise in topics such as trans identities, supporting people who have lost their sense of purpose, and the discrepancy in sexual desire within couples.
After several years abroad (Brazil, Canada, United Kingdom), my practice now continues in Brussels and Montreal, through online and in-person consultations. I offer sexological assessment sessions, sexotherapy, psychotherapy, as well as training and lectures. I share my practice for the benefit of people living in several countries and offer support through life changes (preparation for or readjustment after returning from expatriation, Erasmus, etc.) or specific issues (multicultural couples, etc.).
The option of remote consultations makes it possible to be a particularly valuable resource for people with a nomadic lifestyle or whose work does not allow them to stay in one place.
I am a member of the Commission of Psychologists and of the Society of University Sexologists of Belgium. These affiliations allow you to obtain reimbursement for your sessions according to your health insurance conditions and guarantee you the skills of duly qualified professionals.
