Presentation
Graduated in clinical psychology and educational sciences at UCLouvain, I completed my path with a master’s degree in human resources, then with the AESS in psychology, again at UCLouvain, driven by a concern for transmission and professional rigor. Keen to continually enrich my practice, I have also completed several additional trainings, including, more recently, a university certificate in Life Coaching (UCLouvain).
In parallel, I have been coordinating for more than ten years the multidisciplinary team of the Center for Psychology and Well-Being.
I welcome people who are questioning themselves, who feel lost, tired or stuck. People who are going through a difficult period, facing an obstacle perceived as too heavy, or who feel the need to regain meaning, balance and a new momentum. I also support those who wish to reach a specific personal goal.
The sessions take place in a safe, caring and respectful setting, where everyone can share what they are experiencing at their own pace, without judgment. The work is focused on well-being, first in the relationship with oneself, then in the relationship with others.
Clinical psychologist with a cognitive-behavioral orientation, I work with an approach that helps better understand the links between lived situations, thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I help put into words what is at play, identify the cycles that trap us, and gradually break free from them. The goal is to develop responses that are calmer, more appropriate, and more in line with each person’s values, resources, and needs.
The follow-ups are active and structured, oriented toward concrete changes. My way of working is based on a strong conviction: being listened to and understood is essential, but it is not always enough to feel better. Together, the person I support and I take the time to understand what is happening, then move forward step by step toward appropriate solutions. Clear goals are defined and, when useful, exploratory or practical exercises may be proposed between sessions in order to encourage lasting changes in everyday life.
