Graduated in clinical psychology since 2004, I am a member of the psychologists’ commission. Since that time, I have been working in psychotherapeutic, psychiatric and youth welfare institutions.
I have been training in psychoanalysis for about twenty years. Training in psychoanalysis involves having undergone psychoanalysis oneself and being engaged in groups and places of reflection around this practice (conferences, seminars, working groups, etc.).
The therapeutic encounter is based on the uniqueness of each person. There are no two identical people and no universal treatment. Our suffering is always singular. There is not burn-out but burn-outs, not depression but depressions… To engage in a healing process is to go through what, in our reading of the world, prevents us from being happy.
What is endlessly repeated in a painful way gives way to something new and unprecedented. Going to meet a therapist means allowing yourself to give up the vicious circle you have become used to. It is giving yourself permission to explore paths that have so far been ignored. Nothing is programmed, then, except each time the surprise of the emergence of previously unsuspected resources.
I offer you a listening ear, support, and guidance through the most diverse issues. Here is a non-exhaustive list:
I see both adolescents and adults for psychotherapeutic or supportive follow-up.
I welcome you by appointment in my private practice located in Saint-Gilles.
