Presentation
Graduated from the Université Libre de Bruxelles and registered with the Commission of Psychologists, Gaëlle Tounougang is a clinical psychologist and specialist in children's rights. After several experiences in early childhood, with children/families with specific needs, in adolescent settings and within several dysfunctional families, it is with a great deal of love, kindness and without judgment, in a friendly and highly confidential environment where speech and listening take on their full meaning that I welcome you. The analysis of the request and the situation makes it possible to set up appropriate support. The work is carried out in a collaborative approach in order to achieve the goal of helping you regain balance in all dimensions of your life. In my practice, the individual is considered both in their uniqueness and in their entirety.
Creative and dynamic, I organize support groups for teenagers as well as for parents, which makes it possible to exchange around a common issue. Thanks to these groups, patients symbolize their experiences through creative, psychoeducational and/or mind-body approaches, which helps them feel less isolated in their difficulties and fosters a sense of belonging. Continuing education, supervision and intervision are also of fundamental importance to me.
I see patients for the following difficulties:
- Lack of self-esteem, self-confidence and self-assertion;
- Emotional disorders;
- Relationship disorders;
- Anxiety disorders;
- Sleep disorders;
- Depressive and anxiety disorders;
- Stress, acute stress and trauma;
- Behavioral disorders;
- Educational questions;
- A loss of confidence in your role as a parent;
- A desire to better understand your child;
Preparing your child as well as possible for a parental separation.
