Presentation
Each of us may, at one time or another in our life, be confronted with difficulties, suffering, or illness.
However, we have solutions to support you towards greater well-being, balance, and taking back control of your life. I can provide psychological support in Italian and French.
As a psychologist, psychoanalyst, and cultural mediator, I can help you overcome and manage various disorders and conditions:
- personality disorders;
- mood disorders (including depression and bipolar disorders);
- anxiety disorders;
- psychotic, pre-psychotic, and autistic syndromes;
- eating disorders;
- psychosomatic disorders;
- typical childhood and adolescent disorders;
- addiction disorders (alcohol, drugs, internet, gambling);
- in the design and facilitation of intercultural projects intended for an immigrant population;
- in leading Self-help groups (discussion groups aimed at supporting and assisting people suffering from the same disorder);
The following year, I completed a specialization course in the treatment of eating disorders in Milan, during which I trained in the theoretical and practical tools used for the treatment (individual and group) of such disorders.
Then, I deepened my clinical training at the “Istituto Freudiano”, for clinic, therapy and science in Rome (Italy), where in 2013 I was licensed to practice as a psychotherapist, with a Lacanian psychoanalytic orientation.
I worked for several years with institutions that welcome children facing marginalization and psychological, family and social insecurity, and with reception centers for minors (unaccompanied) who are nationals of third countries (MENA), as well as with day and residential rehabilitation centers that welcome children with autistic disorders or severe childhood psychosis, treated with the method of “plural practice.” This rehabilitation method puts into practice Lacan’s assertion that “the unconscious is structured like a language.” It is based on the implementation of daily activities, called “workshops,” organized in such a way as to set desire back in motion through speech and to re-establish a welcoming place for the child, a place of life, a space where the educator is a “regulated Other,” an Other who welcomes the subject’s speech.
Next, I continued my training by deepening my knowledge of cultural mediation. The cultural mediator is a new professional profile in the educational, social, health, administrative and judicial environment, in all contexts where it is necessary to ensure mediation between cultures. The cultural mediator improves the integration of immigrants into society and aims to achieve equal opportunities for foreign nationals in various social fields.
