Presentation

After having worked in various psychiatric institutions and taught psychology in various schools, including at university, I started out as a private hypnotherapist psychologist in the center of Liège. Alongside more traditional branches of psychology that I practiced for a time, namely psychoanalysis and person-centered listening, I discovered other therapies, such as hypnosis and energy treatments. I was won over by their speed in providing a positive and lasting effect on beneficiaries.
Most of the patients I meet are often helpless in the face of their suffering. Some have tried more traditional approaches that have not always worked. Others are looking for something new to feel better. Most of them no longer want to be dominated by their negative thoughts and emotions.
My mind-body approach is particularly aimed at:
  • The general improvement of the quality of one’s inner life (more pleasure and peace)
  • The transformation of emotions (fatigue, sadness, anger, stress, anxiety…) and negative thoughts (judgment, self-deprecation, obsessive thinking, suicidal impulse…)
  • Support through failure, illness, bereavement, burnout, trauma…
  • The promotion of psycho-corporal resources to improve one’s relationship with one’s body and self-esteem
For this, I begin each consultation with a moment of listening focused on the person. This time allows us to unfold the difficulties starting from the patient’s own words. Then, we transform the psychological suffering into images through hypnosis. With the help of metaphorical narratives, we activate certain emotions, sensations, and unconscious representations to free the patient from certain negative burdens. This work produces a profound letting go and a sense of relief.

Throughout the session, we rely on the energy of the symptoms in order to access increasingly positive resources such as pleasure and inner serenity. Finally, the person leaves each consultation with exercises to practice self-hypnosis at home, with the aim of personal development and gaining autonomy.
