Presentation
Upon completing my studies, I did not immediately turn to psychology: I worked for many years (and still do) in emergency services, sometimes on the front line, in contact with situations that were sometimes difficult and demanding, and sometimes away from the field.
It was only after some fifteen years working in these services that I chose to become a psychologist because I was repeatedly confronted with the suffering and distress of my colleagues, who showed signs of stress, anxiety, sleep disorders, depression, and burnout, in particular.
These signs are as many words to dress the ills experienced by all or part of the professionals working in public or private emergency services (police, fire service, emergency medical aid, army, rail security, security guards, etc.).
But these signs are also present in all professions that put workers and their professional experiences under strain, preventing them from functioning optimally (at the office and/or at home, for example), generating an alteration of their usual behavior, which makes everyday life increasingly difficult.
Likewise, a certain number of students may also find themselves facing situations in which the place of study becomes a source of tension and daily distress, with consequences for behavior that spill over into all or part of their life spheres (family, activities, friends, couple, etc.).
My practice is therefore intended for all people (adolescents and adults) who may be dealing in particular with the following situations
- Distress;
- Conflict;
- Frequent stress;
- Fear and anxiety;
- Depression;
- Burnout;
- Trauma.
In addition, having trained in hypnosis for nearly 10 years, I incorporate this tool into my sessions when it can provide a positive effect during the sessions.
Listening to you, I welcome you with kindness and authenticity in a warm and professional setting. Easy parking right next to the practice.
