Presentation

Clinical psychologist, FR/NL/EN, for individuals, couples, and families.
Each person goes through one or more difficult periods in life. Dissatisfaction comes from ourselves, from our emotional and intimate life, from work, from family, from those around us, from our environment. We do not feel listened to or understood by others; we have doubts and hesitations about ourselves or about those around us. We live in a fog, we feel lost, we no longer see clearly where to go. We live in stress and uncertainty, and we are unable to release negative emotions. All these frustrations and a sense of insecurity build up within us.
Then we feel stuck; we are unable to put into words our suffering, our anxieties, our frustrations, and our distress.
At a certain point, they materialize in the form of physical symptoms: pains, paralysis, cramps, spasms, seizures, etc.
In other cases, we are overwhelmed and unable to regulate our emotion. We become aggressive, violent. We feel as though our emotion is out of control.
If you experience a verbal block or these physical symptoms without any organic cause, or if you display behavioral deviations, it is a sign that you need to seek professional help.
As a clinical psychologist, I support you in deciphering what lies behind psychosomatic symptoms and behavioral deviations. Together we reflect to find the origins of these psychogenic symptoms. The working methods are varied: analysis of speech, mindfulness, hypnosis, systemic approaches, psychoeducation, etc.
The four key elements in my consultation are
1. active listening
2. neutrality
3. empathy
4. a safe therapeutic relationship
I listen attentively and without ever passing any judgment to the stories of your life, in order to define your needs, better identify your difficulties, understand your suffering and wounds, and open up new perspectives to help you get through this difficult period in your life.
