Presentation
Each person has a unique story. Each family may be confronted with imbalances, tensions and changes that deserve to be given time and attention in order to better understand the issues at stake and the possible ways forward. Every life path includes trials that we must face.
As a practitioner in systemic family therapy, trained in the contextual approach and originally a social worker, my approach and intervention style are based on commitment, attentive and caring listening, and relational skills to help you regain balance in your life and make sense of the current inner conflicts.
My systemic orientation leads me to take an interest in the quality of intra-family exchanges, relational issues, as well as possible rebalancing. I suggest revisiting with you the path that is yours, the questions that drive you, and the harm you feel, in order to support you in your search for harmony.
My training in the contextual approach sheds light on the importance of supporting members of the same family toward communication that pays attention to each person’s feelings. This implies, for me, a more holistic view of individual questions and perceptions, while ensuring the greatest respect for each person’s specific feelings.
Individual support for adults and seniors is also an anchoring point of my activity. During these appointments, I make sure to offer you a space of consideration, reflection and time for yourself to help you find yourself again and take greater account of your own needs.
I have been working for many years in a mental health service with frail elderly people. I am sensitive to the specific issues that may arise with the progression into old age. At the same time, I am the co-founder of the non-profit organization Anatole, which supports relatives of young people with school phobia. Questions related to anxiety disorders are therefore also a focus of attention for me.
I offer consultations for adults, seniors and families, as well as professional supervision for psychosocial workers.
