Presentation

My name is Marie-Anne Ellis, I am a therapist and sex therapist.
Specialized in couple and family therapy.
I advise couples both in their communication and in their more intimate questions, I also advise families caught up in their daily lives, which very often generates frustrations in terms of organization, division of tasks as well as moments for themselves.
I offer active, attentive listening based on common sense, with kindness and without judgment; my ability to adapt to a variety of situations, thanks to my experience, has always been highly recognized and appreciated.
I practice BRIEF therapy:
This practice aims to provide rapid relief from suffering and seeks results with concrete tools, linked to the current problem and to what is brought about when one “commits” to lasting change.
Brief therapy is based on the person’s own resources, who remains the actor of their life. It raises awareness of your needs so that you can free yourself from your frustrations and dependencies, and set your boundaries in order to strengthen your values.
Brief therapy is highly recommended for:
  • Professional, personal, and parental burnout, personal or relational crisis situations.
  • Better understanding the person in front of you and being understood, adopting the right communication tools, managing tension more effectively, negotiating while preserving your needs.
  • Getting out of toxic relationships and psychological and physical violence
  • Strengthening self-esteem
  • Establishing or re-establishing a stance/structure adapted to your needs and your family.
Sex therapy aims to improve the couple’s communication, to develop sexual and personal well-being, and to restore a satisfying and fulfilling sexual contact within the couple:
  • By offering a space for speaking freely, without constraint and in complete safety
  • By promoting healthy communication through active listening and respectful expression;
  • By soothing the couple’s conflicts (for example: managing daily life, managing money, raising children, …)
  • By putting things into perspective, lifting guilt, and dispelling prejudices, misconceptions, and beliefs related to sexuality;
  • By answering questions related to sexuality directly and without taboos
  • By proposing new erotic and sexual habits within the couple.
Sex therapy also makes it possible to address the many questions that can arise when living as a couple...
  • romantic feelings, the concept of attachment, fulfillment and the satisfaction of being together
  • The couple’s projects, parenthood
But also
  • Jealousy, emotional blackmail, manipulation, fidelity and infidelity, separation and divorce
Graduated in Project Management, Nonviolent Communication, post-traumatic stress management, training in systemic family constellations and training at the level of “practitioner in Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP)”.
Training in Sex Therapy, Training in Home Organization.
Passionate about communication and intrafamily relationships,
Mother of two children in a blended family, I am aware of the difficulties faced by couples and families.
