Initially graduating in Germanic and Romance languages and working as a novelist, I became interested in different currents of psychology for two decades: from classical psychoanalysis through Jungian analysis, with its emphasis on dreams, to systemic therapy and existential therapy, and psycho‑corporal therapy…
After a period devoted to my family and to teaching languages, I decided to undertake a certified training in Gestalt Therapy (IBG Brussels) in order to support people seeking greater mental balance, joy, flexibility, and desire.
Emerging from an emotional impasse, regaining stability after a disruptive event, becoming intimately acquainted with your emotions (even the most difficult ones), learning to live with a bereavement or a loss, integrating parts of your personality that are still unknown, creating new inner spaces, entering into relationship with yourself and others in a different way, leading a more present or more fulfilling life, having calmer relationships, living your relationship as a couple more peacefully, feeling freer, more self-confident, broadening your field of possibilities, feeling more alive…
You are the person who knows yourself best: your history, your strengths, your fears, your aspirations, your flaws. My role will above all be to be present where you are, to support what wants to be born, to offer a presence that helps you go further and face your fears. I will support you in better perceiving your emotions and your thoughts, in becoming aware of them and accepting them, and in integrating them little by little.
In Gestalt Therapy, our tool is above all speech, silence at times, our bodily and emotional presence, our careful attention, writing or drawing if that can help. And above all, the connection that is created between you and me and that allows you to have new experiences, especially with ourselves.
